Paving the Path Forward for Opportunity Zones Investment
The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified the need to invest in underserved and low-income communities. Investing in opportunity zones (OZ) can help the nation recover from the pandemic and related economic downturn. Amidst the continued optimism for the incentive also exists a need to gather and collectively identify ways to showcase how the OZ incentive has positively transformed communities. The Novogradac 2021 Spring Opportunity Zones Virtual Conference will feature seasoned fund managers, investors, accountants and consultants who will explore how to effectively structure OZ fund investment and properly demonstrate community impact. We will also cover legislative and regulatory changes to anticipate during the Biden administration as it brings the effects of this investment into full view.
We look forward to connecting and exchanging insights on how to modify the existing OZ reporting framework for a chance at even better outcomes than what already exist today.
