Event Rescheduled

Novogradac 2020 Affordable Housing Conference

Posted at 3/31/2020 5:23 PM

To our valued attendees, sponsors and Novogradac community,

As the nation has been adapting over the last few weeks to promote public safety, so too has Novogradac been focusing on making targeted adjustments intended to protect the health and well-being of all those with whom we interact. As you may know, on March 19, Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a strict “stay-at-home” order for the state of California. That order is in effect until further notice. California’s order, in concert with Novogradac’s own social distancing policies, has prompted us to roll the Novogradac 2020 Affordable Housing Conference (which was to have been held in San Francisco) into the Novogradac’s 2020 Credit and Bond Financing for Affordable Housing Conference we’ve planned in New Orleans, October 1-2 and Novogradac 2020 Tax Credit Housing Finance Conference in Las Vegas on Dec 3-4, respectively.

While we will not be able to meet in person in May, we continue to analyze how current events will affect the affordable housing community. Novogradac is regularly analyzing and reporting on relevant developments and we will continue to do so between now and the Novogradac 2020 Affordable Housing Conferences later this year. We will also adapt and update our agendas to take into account the quickly shifting economic and policy terrain and to address the questions raised by this unprecedented set of circumstances. We encourage you to share with us any suggestions you have in this regard.

We believe in the importance of coming together regularly to connect with those with whom we work but don’t often see in person. We also stand firm in our commitment to being an industry knowledge leader. While we may need to defer the former goal to later this fall in the interest of public health, be assured that there will be no letup in our efforts towards the latter goal.

For the convenience of our registered attendees, anyone who is already registered for the event will be automatically re-registered for the event in New Orleans. We will send out the hotel reservation link to New Orleans as soon as it’s available. If you wish to be registered for the Las Vegas event instead of New Orleans, please contact the Events Desk at 415-356-7970. If you will not be able to join us at either event, we will of course be disappointed, but understanding. Please see below for instructions on how to cancel for a full refund.

We remain committed to delivering the utmost value to ensure all attendees are confident that attending the events in October and December will be worthwhile. Once again, if you have questions or suggestions for topics that should be addressed for the Novogradac 2020 Affordable Housing conferences, we invite you to send your thoughts to events@novoco.com.

If you do elect to cancel your registration, you may do so for a full refund, by using the link in the confirmation email you received when you registered. You can also cancel for either a cash refund, or request a credit to use at another Novogradac event held within a year, by sending an email to events@novoco.com.

The Events Desk is available to answer any questions by email or by calling us at 415-356-7970.

We look forward to seeing you, albeit a bit later than originally planned, in New Orleans or Las Vegas.
